Privacy Policy

How Manasource handles privacy.

This page explains the privacy practices intended for Manasource at launch. It is written for product transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel before relying on it as legal advice.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Manasource website, public evidence library, and app experience. It does not cover third-party websites or services that may be linked from Manasource.

Information we may collect

  • Account details you provide, such as email address, name, birthdate, and sign-in method.
  • App activity you choose to enter, such as habits, nutrition, exercise, rhythm, sleep, intent, and other wellness-related logs.
  • Technical information needed to operate the service, such as device, browser, session, diagnostics, and security-related metadata.
  • Product analytics for understanding aggregate usage patterns and improving reliability, when analytics tooling is enabled.

How we use information

  • To create and secure accounts, restore sessions, and provide the app experience.
  • To save and sync user-entered app data across devices when the app supports syncing.
  • To improve product quality, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and understand which areas need refinement.
  • To communicate service-related notices, support responses, and important product updates.

Health and wellness data

Manasource is designed as an evidence-backed wellness and tracking product, not as a medical provider. User-entered logs may feel sensitive because they can describe routines, nutrition, exercise, mood, sleep, and similar personal context. Treat the app as a personal tracking tool and avoid entering information you do not want stored by the service.

Sharing and service providers

We may use third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, analytics, payments, and operational tooling. Those providers process information only as needed to support the service. We do not sell personal information. If future business or legal requirements change how data is shared, this policy should be updated before that change is launched.

Device permissions and tracking

Manasource should not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, notifications, or App Tracking Transparency permission on first launch. The current app experience is designed around account sign-in, user-entered wellness logs, local app storage, network access, and optional sync rather than native device sensors.

  • If a future feature needs a device permission, the app should explain the purpose before the system prompt appears.
  • If a user denies a permission, core account access and manually entered tracking should continue to work unless that permission is essential to the requested feature.
  • Manasource should not track users across other companies' apps or websites unless the app first implements the required platform consent flow and updates this policy.

App privacy summary

For app-store privacy labeling, Manasource behavior at launch should be represented as collecting account information, user-entered wellness/activity content, purchase or entitlement status when subscriptions are enabled, diagnostics, and product analytics only when the corresponding tooling is enabled. Labels should not claim access to precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or cross-app tracking unless those capabilities are added in code and disclosed here first.

Data retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product. Users may request account or data deletion through the support contact provided by Manasource. Deletion may not immediately remove backups, logs, or records retained for legal or security reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should keep credentials private and report suspicious account activity promptly.

User choices

  • You can choose what app activity to enter.
  • You can update supported account details from inside the app.
  • You can log out of current or all sessions from app settings.
  • You can request help with access, correction, export, or deletion through Manasource support channels.

Children

Manasource is not intended for children under 13. If a child has provided personal information, a parent or guardian should contact Manasource so appropriate action can be taken.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated date should reflect the latest version, and material changes should be communicated in a reasonable way.

How to read the signals

Score and freshness are visible in every list row, so you can judge an entry before opening it — the score rates how well the evidence supports it. Open a resource to inspect dates, associations, references, and claims.

Source contract

Content syncs from the library's canonical source. Everything here traces back to a versioned source file — no hand-edits, no drift.
